The program is great for introducing you to all the subjects! I thought I would go into accounting but I chose HR because I just couldn’t see myself doing that in the future. So my advice is not going in with your mind set on anything being open to learning!

[How hard it is?]

Business is relatively easy, it is based on person to person on what is difficult but from the people I know the consensus is that ACCT 2121 is the hardest year 1 course. (Also depends on the prof)

Acct 2121 is the most challenging as people aren’t exposed to accounting prior to the class, and the course has a lot of content.

But a course like HRES 2170 in my opinion was pretty easy.

Stay on top of your study’s, don’t fall behind. Ask questions if you don’t know, and participate in class, take notes and it should be good.

First year take the all the intros to all the streams of business within reason. Intro to Acct, management, marketing, Econ, etc. Year two major in finance and pick a concentration. Consider the coop program for job experience. Also if I were you really consider majoring in accounting you compete for the same jobs with in reason, and accounting kids usually have a foot up.

Or minor in accounting or supply chain it will open a lot of doors.
